My name is Dejene A and I am a male home carer with a wealth of experience in providing compassionate care for individuals with various health conditions. I am skilled and I have NVQ2 in health and social care in providing different types of care, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care, I am motivated by my desire to help people lead independent lives.
Throughout my career, I have worked with clients who have had Mild Cognitive Impairment, limited mobility due to being bedbound, and health conditions such as Osteoporosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Heart Disease. I am experienced in assisting with daily activities such as companionship, cooking, eating and drinking, medication reminders, and assistance with dressing.
Although I haven't a car, I am a reliable individual who can drive and is always willing to arrange transportation for my clients. Regarding hobbies, I enjoy painting, walking, gardening, socializing, and reading. I have found these activities therapeutic and enjoy sharing them with the people I care for.
In addition to my caring skills, I am known for being friendly, helpful, and caring. I believe in creating a comfortable and positive environment for my clients, where they feel valued and respected. I have a preference for pets such as fish, rabbits, lizards, turtles, and snakes, as I find their presence to be soothing and beneficial for the well-being of my clients.
